With the majority of the coast path being unsuitable for cyclists, here are some cycling routes that offer ways for cyclists to explore the coastline and nearby inland countryside.

This section of the Wales Coast Path runs from the castle town of Kidwelly through Pembrey Forest and Country Park and on to the Millennium Coastal Park, which affords extensive views across the Loughor estuary to Gower and includes the Discovery Centre and National Wetlands Centre.

The Wales Coast Path and the Celtic Trail meet up as they follow the promenade around the majestic Swansea Bay. The going is flat and the refreshments are plentiful, making this a very busy stretch of the Path.
