Capturing the spirit of the path through arts and poetry

As part of 10th anniversary of the path, a new body of ten poetic and artistic works will celebrate the path and the Welsh coastline.

A journey along the path is unique and special to everyone who experiences it. From the stunning coastal sights and sounds to the salty seaside wind on your face, it’s no wonder the path is a fantastic source of artistic inspiration for many.

About the project

We are working with painter and curator Dan Llywelyn Hall to develop a series of events to unveil these new works. These will take place at venues across Wales from summer in 2022.

A finale exhibition bringing together all artists and poets to celebrate the path’s anniversary and a launch of a bilingual book is planned for St David’s Day 2023 – the national day celebrating the patron saint of Wales.

Project launch

The project launch was unveiled at Hay Festival 2022 where Dan Llywelyn Hall announced the poets, artists and hub locations to a selected audience in Cymru Wales Dome.

We are very excited to see how path can be used as an inspiring artistic backdrop.
